Reality Recap is building a community for Australian reality TV fans to talk about shows, episodes, cast members and site updates. These guidelines explain what is welcome and what may be moderated.
Be Fun, Fair And Respectful
Reality TV can be dramatic, but comments should still be respectful. You can disagree, criticise a show, debate a decision, or react to an episode without attacking other readers or making cruel personal comments about people on screen.
What Is Not Allowed
Do not post abuse, harassment, hate speech, threats, graphic content, spam, scams, impersonation, private personal information, or comments that target someone because of protected personal characteristics.
Do not make serious accusations about a real person unless they are already supported by a reliable public source. Do not post rumours about pregnancy, health, family issues, private relationships, legal matters, or other sensitive personal information as fact.
Spoilers
Avoid posting major spoilers in unrelated article comments. If a story is clearly about an episode, finale, elimination, cast reveal or result, discussion of that topic is expected on that article.
Moderation
Comments may be held for review before appearing publicly. Reality Recap may approve, hide, remove, edit for formatting, or reject comments where needed to keep the site readable and safe.
Repeated rule-breaking may lead to account limits or removal. Moderation decisions are made at Reality Recap's discretion.
Reporting Comments
If you see a comment that may break these guidelines, use the report option where available. Reports help moderators review issues, but they do not guarantee that a comment will be removed.
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your login details secure and do not use a username, profile, or display information that impersonates another person or suggests an official role you do not have.
