It was a proper reset of the pecking order. The top score came from a suite that leaned into the coastal brief without shouting about it, while last week's frontrunners were left to face a long list of jobs the judges thought should never have made it to reveal night.

Lisa And Rosco Find Their Moment

Lisa and Rosco's bedroom and walk-in robe gave the judges the quiet-luxury feeling they had been looking for. Their curved bedroom wall, intended as a nod to the nearby coastline, was a hit, as were the restrained colours and small pops of warmth.

The walk-in robe was the real game changer. Darren Palmer said the overall look ticked the coastal-luxury brief, while Marty Fox said the room was difficult to fault. Shaynna Blaze did spot one practical miss, there was no blackout blind or curtain, but it was hardly enough to dent a 27-point total.

After their Week Two tiling trouble, it was the kind of bounce-back result Lisa and Rosco needed. First place was theirs, and the rest of the site had a new benchmark for how polished this part of the competition is getting.

Courtney And Sev's Streak Stops Here

Courtney and Sev had been flying, so a fifth-place finish was a sharp change of mood. Their walk-in robe was called cramped, unfinished and dirty, while the fireplace tiling and ceiling plastering gave the judges more problems than they could look past.

The bedroom did not rescue the score. Shaynna compared the ruched bedhead to a high-end coffin, which is not a review anyone wants printed on the mood board. Darren also flagged work that would need to be redone, leaving the team with 17 out of 30 and plenty to fix before the next reveal.

Two Teams Share Second, Rick And Tayla Land Fourth

Adam and Jolene continued their run of near misses with 25 out of 30 and another equal second. The judges liked the rendered wall, the generous wardrobe storage and the way their bedroom brought shape, colour and texture together. A few styling edits, including the placement of two large chairs and a rug, kept them off the top line.

Chantel and Wyatt also finished on 25. Their main bedroom won praise for its simplicity, bed and cushioning, but the walk-in robe had no styling after they ran out of time. The judges found it too clinical and wanted more detail from the pair.

Rick and Tayla placed fourth on 22. Their skylights, high ceiling and herringbone flooring impressed, but the judges questioned the money spent on Venetian plaster in the robe and were not sold on the curtain or bedroom styling. At least there was no major structural disaster in the mix, which counts for something on this show.

The Stakes Get Bigger Again

Before judging, Scott Cam also lifted the season prize, adding a Plungie Pool and $150,000 cash to the eventual winner's auction profit. He promised the prize would keep growing, because apparently ordinary renovation-week stress was not quite enough.

Sunday's scoreboard was Lisa and Rosco first on 27, Adam and Jolene and Chantel and Wyatt equal second on 25, Rick and Tayla fourth on 22, and Courtney and Sev fifth on 17.
