The Australian Survivor favourite and fiancé Chris Cavanagh have welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Flynn.
Sharing the news in a joint Instagram post, Brooke wrote: “Our little dude is finally here 🥹💙 Welcome to the family, Flynn Cavanagh.”
She added that the family already adored him, with a special mention for his big sister.
Parker Takes Her Big-Sister Role Seriously
The announcement includes a black-and-white newborn photo, a colour shot of Flynn wrapped up beside his name card, and a particularly sweet picture of Parker holding him in hospital.
In that sibling photo, Parker leans in towards her baby brother as she cuddles him. The big-sister enthusiasm Brooke had talked about during pregnancy has a little face to go with it now.
Congratulations filled the comments beneath the post. One reply read: “Huge congrats, he’s adorable!!!” Other followers welcomed Flynn by name and sent their love to the family.
Familiar Survivor names joined in, too. New Idea highlighted congratulatory messages from Shonee Bowtell, Felicity Henry, Johnson Ashak and David Genat.
Brooke Had Already Been Preparing For The Chaos
The couple shared their pregnancy news earlier this year, with a family announcement showing Chris holding Parker while Brooke displayed her bump and an ultrasound.
Speaking to New Idea during the pregnancy, Brooke said Parker regularly hugged her tummy and talked about games she wanted to play with her sibling. Her plans included the trampoline and pool, prompting Brooke to joke that she would need close supervision.
Brooke and Chris had known whether they were expecting a boy or girl but initially kept that news within their immediate family.
She also spoke about juggling pregnancy with a toddler and her businesses. Early nausea and fatigue were part of the experience, although she said she found the pregnancy more enjoyable overall. Chris and their wider family were helping her prepare for life with two children.
Parker arrived in 2023, and the couple have been engaged since 2022. They also bought a home this year, adding another big change before Flynn’s arrival.
Brooke had been counting down to having her baby in her arms. Now Parker has him in hers, too.
