That relocation was confirmed by Paramount Australia in August, when the network revealed construction was underway on the new house at Screen Queensland Studios in Hemmant.
At the time, the network said the Brisbane season would bring back live evictions, live nominations and live streaming. It also promised a longer run, suggesting viewers will have more time inside the house once the new season begins.
Tracina described the shift as “a new location, with a new house, filled with new housemates”, while assuring fans that the same unpredictable Big Brother would remain in charge.
The move marks a clean reset for the series after its Gold Coast run. Brisbane is not just a new backdrop either, with the incoming house built specifically for the next season at Hemmant.
For viewers, the new promo offers the clearest answer yet to when Big Brother will be back: October. It does not reveal the precise launch night, the full housemate line-up or any twists, leaving 10 with more to announce before the doors open.
Those details should arrive closer to launch, but the housewarming campaign has made the return official. Big Brother is moving in, and the Brisvegas chapter is almost ready to begin.
