Paramount Australia and New Zealand announced today that construction is underway at Screen Queensland Studios in Hemmant, where Big Brother's new house will be built.
The update confirms the show is relocating from the Gold Coast to what host Mel Tracina called "hot Bris-Vegas", with a new location, a new house and a new batch of housemates.
Paramount says the 2026 season will bring back live evictions, live nominations and live streaming, with an even longer run planned for viewers.
The New House Is Already Underway
The official announcement says Big Brother is looking for a house with gossip nooks, a diary room and unfiltered 24-hour access.
Screen Queensland Studios has hosted major scripted productions before, but Paramount is pitching the Brisbane build as the next home for Big Brother's unfiltered reality chaos.
The move gives the returning series a fresh production base after its recent revival on 10.
Big Brother himself also teased that what happens in Bris-Vegas will not stay in Bris-Vegas, which is exactly the level of dramatic house-owner energy fans would expect.
Casting Is Still Open For 2026
The network also confirmed casting applications close on 31 August, giving would-be housemates only a little more time to apply.
Big Brother Australia is coming soon to 10.
