The wishlist includes Lynne McGranger, Ellidy Pullin, Simon Patterson, Sam Pang, Sarah Harris, Mia Hewitt, Declan Cleary, Mark Beretta and Mike Tindall.
That is a pretty chaotic mix, which is exactly why the rumour has legs. A Seven-era jungle season would need both familiar names and a few curveballs to make the reboot feel big.
Seven has confirmed the show will return in 2027, but has not announced the cast, hosts, filming details or schedule.
