The move was confirmed after the series ended its long run on 10, where it had been hosted most recently by Julia Morris and Robert Irwin.
Seven confirmed the pickup during Sunrise, with the revived version expected to screen on Seven and 7plus next year.
The deal gives Seven another major reality TV format after Australian Idol and The Voice also changed network homes across recent years.
Seven has not yet announced the new host, filming location, celebrity cast, or where the show will sit in its 2027 schedule.
That leaves plenty of room for speculation around whether any familiar faces from the 10 era could return, or whether Seven will rebuild the franchise with a completely new on-screen team.
The series originally launched locally in 2015 and became one of Australia's best-known celebrity reality formats, sending famous faces into the jungle for trials, eliminations and camp drama.
