The jungle favourite has not been announced as part of the new era, but she has made it clear the door is not completely bolted shut.
Asked whether she had been approached about hosting the reboot, Julia joked that she had not been approached "since 1973".
That is not exactly a contract negotiation update, but it is very Julia.
Julia Morris Is Open To A Return
Julia suggested the show could benefit from a fresh start, saying there are plenty of talented women who could bring new energy to the franchise.
She also sounded genuinely excited by the idea of fresh faces getting a chance, especially rising female comics.
Still, when the conversation turned back to whether she would return under the right circumstances, Julia did not fully rule it out.
Her answer was simple: she would go back "in a heartbeat".
Seven Has Not Named The Hosts Yet
I'm A Celebrity is heading to Seven after years on 10, which has naturally sent fans into host-speculation mode.
Dr Chris Brown is already part of Seven's talent stable after leaving 10 in 2023, so plenty of viewers have wondered whether the original Chris-and-Julia jungle duo could somehow reunite.
Robert Irwin, who has also hosted the show, is attached to Australian Ninja Warrior, which takes him out of at least one obvious version of the hosting puzzle.
For now, Seven has not publicly confirmed who will front the 2027 season.
The Jungle Door Is Still Slightly Open
Julia also joked that Seven could not afford her, adding "no judgement" for good measure.
So where does that leave things? Somewhere between farewell speech and cheeky maybe.
The show may end up with a totally new hosting line-up, but Julia clearly still has a lot of affection for the jungle chaos that made her such a big part of the franchise.
If Seven does want a familiar face back in camp, it sounds like there is at least one condition: bring a decent offer and maybe a very strong insect repellent.
