The dessert challenge featured three detailed creations, adding up to nine petit gateaux in total. No pressure, just the MasterChef trophy sitting there quietly in the corner.
Petro still walked away with a huge result, finishing runner-up and receiving $40,000 after a season that saw him become one of the competition's strongest and most consistent cooks.
For Vinnie, the win caps off a season-long story built around family, Italian food and a dream of moving further into hospitality. His background as a nurse also became part of his MasterChef identity, with the pressure of the kitchen proving to be another kind of high-stakes environment entirely.
