Friends, relatives and partners can apply together. The official casting notice requires both team members to be at least 18 and Australian citizens or permanent residents, with identification required at auditions.
The search follows the show’s renewal for 2027. ITV Studios Australia produces the competition for Seven. Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge will return for the season.
Applicants need to complete the online form as a team and provide at least one recent photograph together. Close-up and full-length photos of both applicants are also encouraged.
A video is optional. It should feature both teammates, introduce their personalities and explain why they would suit MKR. The maximum length is three minutes, with a file-size limit of 50MB.
The form can be saved and resumed, but the two applicants should take turns rather than log in simultaneously on different computers. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
The notice encourages teams to apply early and says only applicants progressing to the next stage will be contacted. A closing date is not listed on the introductory application page.
