The eliminated My Kitchen Rules besties are backing the gatecrasher mates, with friendship playing a sizeable part in their choice.

Speaking to New Idea, Alisha praised their approach to food: “They both just cook from the heart.”
She described Harrison and Oliver as genuine and affectionate people whose interest in cooking came ahead of stirring up drama. She and Deanne remain close to the pair after their time around the table.
The Boys Had Their Backs
Alisha and Deanne’s loud, bubbly personalities did not win over every team. They said Harrison and Oliver accepted them and made them feel welcome.
“There were times that they stuck up for us as well,” Alisha said.
Harrison and Oliver joined the competition as gatecrashers, giving them the chance to disrupt teams who had already survived the opening round. Alisha and Deanne got to know them while trying to hold onto their own place.
The women ultimately missed out on Kitchen HQ after Zoe and Zac’s dinner, with their score of 54 beaten by the Newcastle pair’s 58.
They are hoping their friends can go considerably further. Harrison and Oliver still have to earn that finish in the kitchen.
