My Kitchen Rules Comes Out On Top In Close Tuesday Contest

My Kitchen Rules beat The Block in Tuesday's reality contest, averaging 1.09m viewers on Seven.

The Block was close behind on Nine with 1.06m, a margin of 32,000. It was the third-ranked program by reach, while My Kitchen Rules placed fourth.

Seven News topped the night with 1.33m, ahead of 9News on 1.18m and ABC News with 886,000.

Home and Away drew 943,000. In current affairs, A Current Affair averaged 1.01m and 7.30 had 691,000, while quiz shows Tipping Point Australia and The Chase Australia posted 748,000 and 683,000 respectively.

Sunrise led breakfast with 442,000, followed by Today on 262,000 and ABC News Breakfast with 222,000.
