Courtney And Sev Call Them Friendship "Pods"
Courtney described the cast dynamic as a series of friendship "pods" or cliques that developed naturally under pressure. She and Sev bonded with Rick and Tayla, while also growing close to Rosco and Chantel at different points in the competition.
Sev said Courtney, Rosco and Adam became a particularly entertaining trio, with plenty of banter that was apparently too inappropriate to make it to air.
The friendships did not always overlap. Courtney said she could have a good relationship with individual contestants without every person in the wider group being equally close.
Lisa And Courtney Were Never Especially Close
Rosco named Adam, Rick and Courtney among the people he was closest to, while Lisa pointed to Adam and Jolene. Courtney, however, said she and Lisa were never close during filming and still were not close after the show.
That distinction helps explain why the season's alliances can look messy from episode to episode. One half of a team can form a strong friendship even when their partner has a cooler relationship with the same house.
Rick and Tayla also spoke warmly about Chantel and Wyatt. They said they wished the couple had spent more time around the shared house because they enjoyed the conversations they did have.
There Is Still A Cast Group Chat
The full cast remained connected through a group chat after filming, although Rick admitted he was not its most active contributor.
Lisa and Rosco previously hinted that only four of the five houses were still talking in the chat. Anonymous claims have since identified Chantel and Wyatt as the absent team, but the couple have not publicly confirmed that account.
What the contestants have confirmed is less dramatic and probably more realistic: the cast did not leave with one identical friendship group. They left with a patchwork of close bonds, looser connections and relationships that never quite clicked.
