The House Two couple were the only 2026 contestants missing when the other four teams attended Nine’s 2027 Upfronts in Sydney alongside Scott Cam, Shelley Craft and Shaynna Blaze. Their absence was hard to miss, particularly when Darren Palmer posted footage declaring, “We’re all here.”

A Nine insider told Woman’s Day that Chantel and Wyatt had been invited but declined. Attendance was not compulsory, but another source claimed the couple did not want to be in the same room as Houses One and Three.

Chantel And Wyatt Have Reportedly Left The Group Chat

The Upfronts no-show is only one part of the reported fallout. An insider claimed Chantel and Wyatt have stopped communicating with most of their former co-stars and have barely interacted with the other houses since filming ended.

“They’ve completely ghosted everyone,” the source said. “There’s been no communication in the WhatsApp group, no calls, no texts. They’ve just removed themselves from the whole thing.”

Lisa and Rosco had already dropped a sizeable hint about the split. Asked about the cast group chat, Rosco said “four out of five houses” were still talking. Lisa added that “most of the houses are friendly”, putting plenty of weight on the word “most”.

The pair have also reportedly declined cast reunions, Gold Coast get-togethers and promotional opportunities involving their former neighbours. One insider said they were “turning down opportunities because they don’t want to be around certain people”.

Chantel’s Instagram Comment Made Her Alliances Clear

Chantel did not name the contestants she had fallen out with, but one public comment said plenty. Under footage from the Upfronts, she wrote: “Love House Four & Five.” Tayla replied, “ditto baby”.

That puts Courtney and Sev, along with Rick and Tayla, firmly in Chantel’s friendly camp. It also leaves Adam and Jolene from House One and Lisa and Rosco from House Three conspicuously outside it.

The tension with Lisa and Rosco was already public. The couple previously described their frosty relationship with Chantel and Wyatt, with Lisa saying she received an aggressive direct message after commenting on who had managed the House Two build.

Viewers also watched resentment build inside the shared house. Chantel and Wyatt were accused of treating communal dinners “like a restaurant” after leaving others to handle the clean-up, while their regular gym trips became an easy punchline when fans noticed they were missing from the Upfronts.

House Placement Reportedly Made Everything Worse

Sources claim Chantel and Wyatt hated being placed between Adam and Jolene on one side and Lisa and Rosco on the other. The constant movement between houses reportedly made them feel as though people were always entering their space.

The rest of the cast appears to have moved in the opposite direction. Adam, Jolene, Lisa and Rosco are said to have become close after filming, while Courtney and Sev have reportedly repaired their relationship with Jolene after their own on-site tension.

That leaves Chantel and Wyatt as the obvious outliers heading towards auction day. All five couples are expected to return for their remaining finale commitments, which could force the first full reunion since the cast divided into very different post-show camps.

The houses may be finished, but this particular renovation job looks nowhere near repaired.
