The Block held above 1m on Wednesday, averaging 1.05m for its community challenge episode. It was down 52,000 on Tuesday's 1.10m, but still ranked third in the Total People chart behind the major news bulletins.
Home and Away was the closest entertainment challenger at 976,000, while The 1% Club UK drew 896,000. Tipping Point Australia followed on 810,000 and The Chase Australia had 646,000.
Seven News led the night with 1.42m, ahead of 9News on 1.23m and ABC News on 909,000.
A Current Affair came within 27,000 of The Block on 1.02m. Elsewhere, 7.30 posted 724,000 and Spicks and Specks drew 316,000.
At breakfast, Sunrise averaged 462,000, ahead of Today on 290,000 and ABC News Breakfast on 223,000.
