The Perth couple shared the news during Wednesday night's episode. Their new arrival will be a little brother for two-year-old Lando, who remained one of their biggest motivations throughout the competition.
Baby "Wombat" Is Due Before Auction Day
Lisa and Rosco have affectionately nicknamed their unborn son "Wombat" while keeping his real name private.
The baby is due in the weeks before The Block auction and finale, which means the couple could be navigating a newborn and the biggest day of their television journey almost at the same time.
They joked that "Scotty" could become a contender for the name if they win at auction, but it was clearly a playful nod to host Scott Cam rather than a confirmed choice.
The Pregnancy Was A Surprise Before Filming
Lisa discovered she was pregnant shortly before filming began in Mount Eliza. She had been feeling unusually carsick but initially put it down to nerves about relocating and leaving Lando with family.
A visit to the doctor during a stomach bug prompted the pregnancy test. Lisa learned she was about seven weeks along, and the couple briefly worried that the news might end their place on the show.
Production supported them, and Scott Cam became the first person on the program they told. From then on, Lisa and Rosco joked that House 3 had an extra teammate.
Two Boys Give The Couple Their "Little Tribe"
Lisa said knowing they will have two boys makes the future feel more tangible. After finishing The Block, the couple moved straight into building a family home on the outskirts of Perth.
They hope to create a relaxed life for both children, with enough space for the boys to grow up together. Rosco said the pregnancy made the competition feel more meaningful, while Lisa found comfort in having the baby with her while she was away from Lando.
The couple still have Auction Day to survive before they can close this chapter. For now, the newest member of The Block family already has a nickname, a big brother and one memorable origin story.
