In a TV WEEK interview, Adam and Jolene opened up about the tension between their house and neighbours Courtney and Sev after Courtney reportedly let slip where Adam could get hold of a crucial wet saw.

One Tiny Tip Changed The Game

Courtney accidentally pointed Adam in the right direction while his own team was dealing with tiling pressure.

Adam did what any highly stressed Block contestant would do with helpful information: he moved fast. Very fast.

He told TV WEEK that Courtney had given him the tip and he acted on it quickly, adding that a small hint can be the thing that gets a team over the line for the week.

Honestly, in Block language, that is basically finding gold under a pile of grout dust.

Then Courtney Needed The Saw Back

The problem came the next day, when Courtney's own wet saw reportedly broke.

After accidentally helping Adam secure his, Courtney apparently expected the favour to come back around. Instead, Adam held onto it, telling the outlet there was "no way I was lending it out" before his own team had finished what they needed to do.

From Adam's side, it was pure competition logic. From Courtney's side, it is not hard to imagine the internal screaming.
