The runner-up has revealed she blocked fellow contestant Manaaki Hoepo after what she described as an unpleasant exchange following the show’s launch event.
Speaking to PEDESTRIAN.TV, Keira said Manaaki is now the only person from the cast she is not talking to. She said the pair had patched things up after their on-screen clash, but their relationship changed after a video they made together at the July launch.
From Round Table Tension To A Post-Show Block
Keira and Manaaki were never exactly a low-drama pairing inside the manor. Their first episode saw Manaaki accuse Keira of lying about her team finding a shield in a mission, before he wrote her name at the first Round Table.
Manaaki was murdered in episode three, but Keira told the outlet they had managed to move past the television clash after filming. Her account is that a launch-event video shifted the mood again.
Keira said Manaaki suggested his followers might question whether they were friends, and she agreed to record something together. She says the clip he later posted was negatively directed at her, prompting the Instagram block.
The account is Keira’s own recollection of the exchange. Manaaki has not publicly responded in the source material, so there is no need to turn one post-show disagreement into a full-cast war.
The Cast Group Chat Is Still Busy
It is not all frosty after the finale. Rachael Evren said a cast group chat is active every day, although Kween Kong reportedly left because the messages were a little too frequent for her liking.
Kirby Bentley has also described the group as tight-knit after the season, which makes Keira and Manaaki’s social-media falling-out a particularly interesting loose end from the game.
