The Traitors' Luke Reveals The Move He Would Have Made Against Kirby

And yes, it involved Kirby Bentley. Obviously. At this point, every strategic conversation in that manor eventually seems to end up back at Kirby, usually with someone whispering, squinting, or suddenly discovering a moral objection to sharing information.

Luke told Chattr he thought there was a chance he would be recruited, but he now believes Kirby made the right call by choosing Rhys Nicholson instead.

His reason was simple: if Kirby had brought him into the Turret, he says he would have gone after her almost immediately.

Luke Says He Would Have Taken Kirby Out

Luke said he would have been a "ruthless Traitor" and would not have played alongside Kirby for long.

He told Chattr that he believed he had enough power at the round table by that point to turn the group against her, then continue through the game as a Traitor with his Faithful reputation still intact.

It is a bold alternate-timeline pitch, and to be fair, it sounds exactly like the sort of thing Luke would have tried. Subtle? Not really. Entertaining television? Absolutely.

Why Luke Thinks Kirby Was Protected

Luke also weighed in on why suspicion around Kirby did not turn into a successful banishment earlier.

He said that while viewers saw plenty of information about Kirby, he did not always have those discussions in the manor. Luke said he was more suspicious of Rhys than Kirby based on what he personally knew at that stage of the game.

He suggested some players may have had information and chosen not to share it, either because they had their own strategy or because they were being protected by a Traitor.

Luke also pointed out that players such as Tully Smyth and Krissy Marsh had the right to play their own way, even if viewers were screaming at the screen for someone to gather the group and throw Kirby's name into the middle of the table.

That is the deliciously frustrating part of The Traitors. Everyone at home gets the luxury of the full edit. The people in the manor get nerves, half-conversations and a very expensive-looking room full of people lying with confidence.
