“Big Brother will see you again in 2027,” the show announced in an Instagram post, adding that viewers would be able to watch and stream free on 10.
The announcement features host Mel Tracina alongside artwork declaring the show is back in 2027. It was posted on Wednesday, 28 October, two days after the current season began.
The return also places Big Brother Australia among the returning favourites in 10’s 2027 programming slate, alongside Australian Survivor, MasterChef Australia and The Traitors Australia.
When Will Big Brother 2027 Start?
A premiere date has not been announced.
Fans hoping to enter the house will need to wait for a separate 2027 casting announcement.
The 2026 Season Is Already Underway
Tracina is currently hosting the 2026 season, which launched on Monday, 26 October with 14 housemates competing for $100,000.
This year’s production has moved from Dreamworld on the Gold Coast to Screen Queensland Studios in Brisbane’s Hemmant, with a larger live stage and a longer run than last year’s return.
The current season includes live nominations, live evictions and 24/7 access, with 10 promising greater audience influence from opening night.
“The house is open, the season is longer, the crowds are bigger and audiences have more power than ever before,” Tracina said of the season now airing.
Big Brother Australia continues Monday to Friday at 7.30pm and Sundays at 7pm on 10, with free streaming and 24/7 live feeds.
