The first evictee from this season of Big Brother Australia has described periods when other housemates kept their distance, comparing the social dynamics with school cliques.

Speaking to Chattr, the 29-year-old said he felt almost “exiled” at points, before some contestants later reassured him they did not actually hate him.

“For about two days, people would move away to leave me out of conversations,” he said.

He said it reminded him of being outside the popular group at school.

The Prank Followed Him To The Eviction

His coffee chaos ended in an early exit after he attracted 22 nomination points, twice the tally of fellow nominees Ebony and Kyrah.

Australia voted to save the two women. In 10’s account of his departure, Harmon admitted to Mel Tracina that he took the coffee, then added that he had taken the salt too.

The network’s pre-show biography had introduced him as someone who enjoyed pushing buttons and getting a reaction. His interview suggests the consequences were less entertaining from inside the group.

He Is Not Taking Back The Goodbye Message

Harmon has not softened his view of the farewell video, which included jabs at Pam’s age and Ebony’s appearance.

Asked about regrets, he told Chattr: “I stand by it all.” He characterised the remarks as banter and said he wanted to get under the remaining housemates’ skin.

A polite goodbye was never his preferred exit. Harmon wanted to leave them with something to talk about after he had gone.
