The friends made $1.27 million above their House 4 reserve of $3.45 million, comfortably delivering the biggest auction profit of the season.

They also received the $100,000 winners' bonus, taking their cash winnings to $1.37 million. The additional $500,000 Scotty's Prize Pool lifted the total value of their win to $1.87 million, the largest prize package in the show's 22 seasons.

Speaking to nine.com.au after the result, the pair said they had backed House 4's larger land size and layout despite doubts about its more limited water views.

“It was always a goal to try and create a beautiful unique home that just wasn’t cookie cutter,” Sev said.

Courtney praised the designs Sev had brought to the renovation, while the friends admitted the scale of their win was still sinking in.

Every Team Leaves With A Profit

Rick and Tayla finished second after House 5 sold for $4.355 million, earning them $905,000 above reserve.

Lisa and Rosco made $550,000 from their $4 million sale, while Adam and Jolene earned $455,000 after selling for $3.905 million. Chantel and Wyatt's home sold for $3.817 million, giving them $367,000.

All five teams sold their homes above reserve, bringing the Mount Eliza season to a profitable finish across the board.
