The familiar four-person panel is back for the 19th season of MasterChef Australia, with 10 confirming the line-up as part of its plans for next year.
The network’s official announcement confirms Poh will juggle the adult competition with the returning Junior MasterChef Australia, where she will be joined by special guest Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
Andy Allen Is Staying On The Panel
Allen’s return follows speculation that Declan Cleary could eventually take his place. That suggestion was never an official casting announcement, and Allen is now confirmed alongside his fellow judges for 2027.
In comments included in TV Tonight’s upfront article, Allen said each season continued to surprise him with the contestants’ creativity, commitment and growth in confidence.
“I can’t wait to see what 2027 serves up!” he said.
Poh, Levin and Novelli joined Allen on the judging panel in 2024, bringing a mix of competition experience, food writing and professional kitchen expertise to the series. The same quartet will oversee the next group of home cooks chasing the title.
A Bigger Year For The MasterChef Kitchen
Alongside the main competition, Junior MasterChef is recruiting young cooks aged nine to 13 for its 2027 return. Poh’s involvement in both shows means she will be guiding two different generations of contestants through the kitchen.
MasterChef Australia will return to 10 in 2027.
