This release is mainly about making it easier to find the latest coverage and keeping the reading experience tidy, whether advertising is visible or not.

More Stories Up Front

The homepage now shows nine stories before the View More button, giving readers three full rows of recent coverage on desktop.

We have also fixed the Featured story area so it properly prioritises highlighted News and Gossip stories. If nothing has been highlighted, it falls back to the newest eligible story instead of holding on to an older article.

A More Useful Footer

The footer has been rebuilt with clearer Explore, Info and Legal sections. It now gives readers direct access to show pages, article categories, site information and policy pages without packing everything into one line.

Links to Reality Recap on Facebook, Instagram, X, Bluesky and Threads have also been added using the official platform logos.

Article Pages That Adapt Better

Article pages now keep the main story centred whenever a sidebar ad is not shown. When an ad does appear, the page switches to a wider two-column layout so the story and advertisement each have their own space.

The Back to Top button now sits closer to the bottom of the screen when there is no bottom ad, then moves out of the way when one appears.

A Few Finishing Touches

The header and footer now share matching outlines, while spacing around the footer and related stories has been refined for a more consistent finish.
