The biggest additions are starting on My Kitchen Rules, where readers can now explore contestant scores and move between current and past ratings seasons.
MKR Scores Are Now Interactive
MKR contestant cards can now display each team's running points total beneath their names.
Selecting a score opens the complete breakdown without leaving the show page, including the guest teams' combined result and the individual scores awarded by Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge for each course.
The first breakdown covers Krysten and Lucy's opening Instant Restaurant, where the Queensland mother and daughter finished with 72 points. More scoring details can be added as the season continues.
Switch Between Ratings Seasons
Show-page ratings tables now include a season selector whenever more than one season is available.
On the MKR page, readers can switch between the current Season 16 table and all 24 episodes from Season 15. It means a new season no longer pushes the previous year's ratings out of reach.
Members Are Ad-Free Again
Signed-in Reality Recap members now receive an ad-free version of the site, while advertising continues to support the site for readers browsing while signed out.
As explained in our earlier membership update, this benefit is temporary. Reality Recap membership is free for now, and the ad-free experience is expected to become part of a paid subscription later.
Cleaner Article Pages
Spacing around article images and videos has been tightened across mobile and desktop, while captions are now smaller, more subtle, italicised and centred beneath the media they describe.
Mobile article pages have also lost the extra back button, and the date has been resized and given a little more breathing room. The comments area should now remain visible below the Found an error prompt while account details are loading.
More Mobile And Homepage Polish
The mobile footer now keeps its Explore, Info and Legal sections side by side, with less empty space above the Reality Recap logo. The Facebook icon has also been corrected so it matches the clean transparent style of the other social icons.
My Kitchen Rules has replaced The Voice Australia in the homepage Featured Shows section, keeping that area focused on the shows readers are following now.
You can revisit earlier releases on the Site Updates page. As always, thank you for your continued support.
