The update also expands the My Kitchen Rules score experience, making it easier to follow the current round without losing the results that came before it.

A Much Simpler Sign-Up

Creating a free Reality Recap account now starts with just a username, email address and password, plus agreement to the site terms. Details such as name, birthday, gender and location are optional and can be added to a profile later.

Sign-up links also remember where readers came from. After joining or signing in, readers return to the article, show page or comments section they were viewing. Selecting the email confirmation link now completes sign-in and returns the new member to that original page too.

Create a free account to comment on stories, follow favourite shows and build a public fan profile.

A Clearer Invitation To Join

Signed-out readers will now see a highlighted community invitation at the end of every article. It gives people who have finished a story a simple next step, with separate options to join free or sign in before heading to the conversation.

Membership remains free and is focused on community features, including comments, followed shows and profiles. Advertising may appear whether a reader is signed in or signed out.

Faster Articles And Comments

Article pages now wait until a reader approaches the comments before loading the full conversation. Direct links to comments still open the section immediately, but readers who are still at the top of a story no longer need to load everything at once.

Public profiles and other commonly visited pages also do less repeated work behind the scenes. Together, these changes should make browsing feel more responsive while keeping comments and member features ready when they are needed.

MKR Scores Are Easier To Follow

The My Kitchen Rules hub now separates current and archived scores. Only results from the active round appear beneath team names, while selecting a team photo opens every available score breakdown.

Krysten and Lucy's profile, for example, can now switch between their current 92-point result and their archived 72-point first-round score. The cast area has also been updated with the three gatecrasher teams, while Jane and Shane now appear at the end of the lineup as eliminated with their complete 50-point breakdown.

This builds on the interactive MKR scores introduced in Reality Recap v1.3.4 while keeping earlier results available throughout the season.

A Few Useful Fixes

Gossip stories can once again take the featured position on the homepage, and membership wording across the site has been refreshed so the current benefits are clear and consistent.
