Speaking to realestate.com.au, Taz joked that Britt might have the final say: “If the opportunity ever came, I think we’d have to do it because Britt would pull rank.”

The 2025 winners did not indicate they had been approached. Nine’s 2027 Stan spin-off, The Block: The House Next Door, will bring former contestants to a sixth property beside the new teams at Sunbury’s Jacksons Hill. The returning contestants have not been named.

They Already Have A Major Project

Another stint would compete with Hazelwood Estate, their $1.41m, six-bedroom North Yunderup property near Mandurah. The 1981 Tudor-style house sits on 2.24 hectares.

Taz says extensive asbestos has complicated the renovation. Their builder is overseeing the work, while Britt wants a brighter interior that preserves the beams, high ceilings and mezzanine.

The couple became the first West Australian winners in 2025, collecting $520,000 after their Daylesford house sold for $3.41m.

Taz is reluctant to spend another long stretch away from their children. Britt remembers the sleepless uncertainty before their auction, when making a profit was far from guaranteed.

Their own renovation can take longer than the show’s 13-week sprint. With a pool, stables and room for outdoor play, Britt hopes it becomes a lasting family home, potentially with a granny flat for the children later.
