A new Woman's Day report has claimed that host Scott Cam and judge Marty Fox may not be especially close behind the scenes.
To be clear, there is no confirmed feud here. The pair continue to appear together professionally on the show, and the claim is based on report-led chatter rather than an on-record falling-out.
Still, because The Block runs on renovation pressure, strong personalities and the occasional brutally timed walk-through, even a whisper of tension between the show's biggest names was always going to travel.

Woman's Day has claimed there is tension between Scott and Marty away from the cameras.
The report notes that Scott does not follow Marty on social media, despite following other members of the judging panel. That alone is not proof of anything, obviously, but Woman's Day also quoted unnamed sources who suggested the relationship may be chilly.
One unnamed source claimed Scott will remain professional, even if he is not Marty's biggest fan. Another suggested the lack of a follow was being read as a sign of the wider dynamic.
Marty Has Spoken About Scotty's Style Before
The latest report also revisits comments Marty made during the 2025 season on The Block Podcast with Shelley Craft.
At the time, Marty spoke about Scott's communication style with contestants and said his delivery could come across as harsh. He also defended his own approach, suggesting he is measured because he is thinking carefully about the feedback he is giving.
That does not confirm a personal rift. It does, however, give viewers one more reason to read into the working dynamic between the long-running host and the newer judge.
Scott has hosted The Block for more than two decades, while Marty joined the judging panel in 2023. Marty is also the founder of Whitefox and brings a real estate lens to the rooms, which has already made him a different presence on the panel.

For now, the rumour is probably less important than the actual renovation chaos happening on screen. But it does add another layer to the season, especially if viewers start watching Scott and Marty's exchanges a little more closely.
