After tension flared between the two houses on The Block, Courtney revealed that she and Rosco had become close friends during filming. The pair's bond was rarely shown, even as the on-screen relationship between Courtney, Sev, Lisa and Rosco became increasingly complicated.

Courtney Says She And Rosco Were 'Inseparable'

Courtney told Chattr that she and Rosco were best friends on the show and regularly helped one another through the build.

"We were inseparable," she said, explaining that they went to each other for practical help and a laugh when the pressure became too much.

Sev backed her up, describing it as a "beautiful friendship" built around plenty of jokes and support behind the scenes.

Lisa Never Stood In The Way

The friendship is especially interesting because Courtney was frank about never being particularly close to Lisa. Despite that distance, she credited Lisa with never interfering in her bond with Rosco.

That is a much less tidy dynamic than the usual reality TV team-versus-team storyline. Courtney and Lisa could clash, Sev and Lisa could have an awkward confrontation, and Courtney and Rosco could still be genuine mates at the same time.

The tension had intensified after Lisa and Rosco questioned whether Courtney and Sev deserved two perfect scores. As the share-house dispute continued, Sev accused Lisa of being passive-aggressive, while Lisa described Sev as abrasive. The two eventually talked it through and hugged.

The Friendship Did Not Fit The Edit

Courtney said she wished more of the contestants helping one another had made it to air. She and Rosco phoned each other, shared trades and stepped in when the other house needed support, leaving her surprised that viewers had seen so little of their friendship.

The season has shown plenty of scoring arguments, shared-house resentment and suspicion between teams. A friendship cutting across those battle lines would have made the cast dynamics even more interesting, particularly once Courtney and Sev became the team everyone wanted to catch.

There is still time for the Rosco and Courtney friendship to emerge before auction day. At the very least, viewers now know that not every relationship on The Block can be explained by the scoreboard.
