After weeks of Tones And I quietly watching from behind the scenes, mentoring artists the main coaches had let slip by, the episode became her big proof-of-concept moment. Jamie Koul, Moniquea Williams, Cris J and Dicko all returned with something to prove, and this time the red chairs were very much in motion.

Team Tones Finally Steps Into The Spotlight

The whole episode had a neat little reality TV flourish to it. The coaches thought they knew where the Blind Auditions were heading, only for Tones' second-chance crew to arrive and politely suggest everyone may have made a few mistakes the first time around.

That is the beauty of this twist. It lets rejected artists come back with a little more polish, a little more belief, and the kind of pressure that makes every note feel like a tiny job interview under stage lights. No big deal, just your musical future and several celebrities watching you breathe.

Jamie Koul, from Pascoe Vale in Victoria, made the loudest early statement. His second shot turned into a four-chair moment, with Ronan Keating seeing pop-star potential and Tones getting the proud mentor payoff she had clearly been waiting for.

Jamie ultimately joined Team Ronan, giving Ronan another strong contender as the show heads out of the discovery phase and into the part where coaches have to start making truly uncomfortable decisions.

Moniquea Lands Her Dream Team

Moniquea Williams, from Canterbury in New South Wales, also made her return count. Her Blind Audition earned two chair turns, enough to turn a second chance into an actual place in the competition.

She chose Team Melanie C, which gave the moment an extra bit of sweetness. For Moniquea, this was not just about surviving the round, it was about landing with the coach she had dreamed of working with.

Melanie C has been one of the sharper pitch artists of the season, mixing warmth with just enough Spice Girl gravitas to make contestants melt a little. Moniquea choosing her felt like a clean fit, and Team Melanie C now has another voice heading into The Knockouts.

Cris J Brings The Emotion

Gold Coast busker and barista Cris J gave the night one of its more emotional turns, earning three chairs and a glowing response from Kate Miller-Heidke.

Kate called it one of her favourite auditions of the season, which is not the sort of line you throw around lightly when everyone on this show is already operating at 11. Cris joined Team Kate, giving her team another artist with a proper story and a voice that clearly connected in the room.

There is always something fun about a performer who has been grinding away in everyday gigs suddenly getting the big shiny TV moment. It is exactly the kind of thing The Voice is built to deliver, and Cris got one of the episode's most straightforwardly lovely payoffs.

Dicko Closes The Blinds With A Bang

Then came Dicko, a father of two from Lara in Victoria, who gave the final Blind Auditions their last big swing.

His performance earned a four-chair turn, but the real spice came when Richard Marx blocked Ronan Keating in a bid to land him. Nothing says friendly singing competition quite like a strategic block deployed with the precision of someone who has absolutely had enough of losing artists to Ronan.

Richard's pitch worked. Dicko joined Team Richard, after Richard told him, 'You rocked my world.' Subtle? Not even slightly. Effective? Apparently, yes.

It was a strong closer for the Blind Auditions, and a tidy final win for Tones too. Her secret team did not just get a cute storyline, it produced artists who genuinely changed the make-up of the main coaches' teams.

The Teams Are Locked

With the final Blind Auditions done, the teams are now set for the next stage.

Team Melanie C includes Charlotte Macphail, Cleo Paladino, Edde Masson, Enza Russo, Jack Hughes, Josh McCauley, Litia Keni, Moniquea Williams, The60Four and Yung Milla.

Team Ronan includes Brooklyn Sauer, Daisha Auda, Findlay Webb, Georgia Dabbous, Jamie Koul, Jerikye Williams, Leyla Sabo, Phoebe Rose, Renee Naccari and Sam Cliffe.

Team Richard includes Benny D Williams, Cherry Green, Dicko, Jeramine Heitmann, Jessica McPherson-Riley, Liam O'Neill, Saem Milward, Tika Cetinich and Tommy Novak.

Team Kate includes Bertie Anderson, Carla Venkataya, Charlotte June, Cris J, Fox Stapleton, Lachlan Lawton, Madeline Beckett, Taylor Beadle-Williams, Victoria Knight and Wave Raiders.

As for Tones, her job as secret second-chance coach is done for now. Four artists made it back into the competition, four coaches picked up fresh talent, and the Blind Auditions got to end with a twist that actually mattered.

The Knockouts Are Coming

The Voice now moves into The Knockouts, which is where things usually stop being charming and start becoming mildly devastating.

Artists will perform in groups of three or four, each with a different song. Only one singer from each Knockout will advance, although each coach will have one save to rescue an eliminated artist from another team.

In other words, the chairs have stopped turning, but the coaches are about to become even more dangerous.
