The 22-year-old Darwin rapper and support worker performed All My Life, an original song by his brother J-MILLA, on Tuesday night's episode. By the end of it, Melanie C, Ronan Keating, Kate Miller-Heidke and Richard Marx were all in.

Yung Milla Makes It Personal

Before the audition, Yung Milla spoke about growing up around adversity, the influence of his mother and his ambition to use music to create opportunities for other people in his community.

That gave the performance real stakes before he had even started. The original track also made the audition feel different from the usual Blind Audition formula. This was not just about whether he could sing or rap a known hit. It was about whether the Coaches would connect with him as an artist right now.

They did. All four chairs turned for the Darwin, NT performer, setting off an immediate scramble to secure him.

The moment became even more personal when J-MILLA, whose song had helped shape the audition, joined him on stage afterwards. The brothers performed together while the Coaches watched, briefly turning the audition into a family celebration before the team battle resumed.

Melanie C Blocks Richard Marx

Melanie C was emphatic in her response to the performance, calling it world class and saying she had never felt a room change in quite the same way during an audition.

Ronan Keating was just as fired up, describing the performance as one of the best things he had ever seen on The Voice.

Richard Marx also made a strong case, saying everyone would remember where they were when they first heard Yung Milla. Unfortunately for Richard, a strong pitch only works if the artist is actually allowed to pick you.

Melanie had already used her block on Richard, taking him out of the race before the final decision. It was a sharp move, and it paid off. Yung Milla chose Team Melanie C.

Cherry Green Delivers Another Four-Chair Turn

The episode did not stop at one four-chair result. Cherry Green, 24, from Ipswich, Queensland, also had every Coach turn after performing Wilson Pickett's Everybody Needs Somebody.

Cherry, who was born in Rwanda and moved to Australia as a child after arriving as a refugee, spoke about music helping him navigate loneliness and find connection after the move.

His performance brought a burst of joy to the stage and gave the Coaches another chance to sell their teams. Kate praised his individual style and energy, while Melanie C highlighted the joy in his performance.

Ronan called him gold dust, and Richard described him as a compelling performer. This time, Richard got the win. Cherry chose Team Richard.

Renee Naccari And Fox Stapelton Also Move Forward

Renee Naccari gave the episode another big vocal moment with Lady Gaga's Abracadabra.

The 24-year-old Pilates instructor from Doreen, Victoria, earned three chair turns before choosing Team Ronan. Her audition followed a major setback in 2024, when she underwent vocal cord surgery for nodules and feared she might never sing again.

The Coaches responded strongly to her return to the stage. Richard described her as a diva and a superstar, Kate picked up on the theatrical quality in the performance, and Ronan said he had found a proper pop star.

Fox Stapelton, 18, from Bondi, NSW, also advanced after performing Olivia Dean's Man I Need. He earned two chair turns and chose Team Kate Miller-Heidke.

Tones And I Keeps Building In Secret

Jess Kelly, a 38-year-old Queensland singer and the nephew of John Farnham, brought one of the episode's most recognisable family connections to the stage.

He performed Cold Chisel's When The War Is Over after explaining that he had grown up side of stage watching his uncle perform. None of the four main Coaches turned, though Richard noted the resemblance between Jess's voice and Farnham's was uncanny.

In this season, a no-chair result is not automatically the end. Tones And I is secretly watching the Blind Auditions as a fifth Coach from a hidden room, with the main Coaches still unaware that she is selecting artists for her own behind-the-scenes program.

Seven artists have been saved so far: Red Roy, Jamie Koul, Lilita Keni, Dicko, Georgia Dabbous, Cris J and Mikayla Durrant.

Yung Milla, however, needed no rescue route. He walked in with an original song, left with all four chairs, watched Richard get blocked and finished the night as the newest member of Team Melanie C.
